Fear and [Self] Loathing in November • The NaNoWriMo Story

Placeholder is a podcast dedicated to, and produced for, the supporting members of our Patreon community. We’re proud to offer episode one to all, and we invite you to hear more by becoming a patron today.

We did it. We made it through November. In this episode, I thought I’d take a little time to talk about a bit of the tech and a lot of the feelings that can stifle the journey to rediscover our own greatness.

Along the way, I’ve got updates on Obsidian as a writing tool and a few plugins (Better Word Count, Long Form, Typewriter Scroll, Writing Goals), and Ulysses.

Then it’s goals all the way down. How do you do a hard thing while also trying to take care of yourself? How do you face personal challenges when your brain is working against you? I don’t know. But I share thoughts on it anyway.

Thanks for hanging with me. And I hope you have a wonderful, peaceful holiday.
